Dying Light 2 is one of the most highly awaited survival horror action role-playing games right now. The first game in the series brought an interesting spin on the survival horror game genre by giving players a vast open-world to explore and upgrade their skills, along with some interesting gameplay mechanics such as weapon modifications and parkour. Dying Light 2 is expected to build on these fundamentals.
However, ever since the game was announced, details on the same have been quite scarce. Now, the developers behind the game, TechLand Studios have announced that they will reveal new information regarding their upcoming survival horror action role-playing game next Wednesday.
The game was first teased in E3 2018 and a release window for early 2020 was given, but last year, owing to the pandemic, the game was delayed indefinitely. In a tweet for the players, TechLand have once again piqued the interest of gamers.

In their tweet, the developers state “We’ve got a few words to share with you about the Dying Light 2 development process. Be sure to be with us next Wednesday. Want to see it first? Join our discord server now at http://discord.gg/dyinglight“.
There’s also a 5-second teaser, which doesn’t really give a lot of information about the game, but it does show a new undead type- could this be one of the many enemies you’re going to face off in the game? We’ll have to wait to find out.
Readers should note that this is a development update, and it is quite likely that the developers won’t show a trailer or gameplay. However, the update will focus on informing people on where the development of the game currently is.
As of now, there is no word on when the game will launch.
