Blizzard Entertainment is kicking off the open beta for their upcoming action RPG Diablo 2: Resurrected this month. Early access beta will be open from August 13 – August 17 for those who have pre-ordered the game or Diablo Prime Evil Collection, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Open beta for everyone else will go live a week later from August 20 – August 22.

Diablo 2: Resurrected beta test features
Here’s what will be included in the upcoming beta tests-
- Two new classes: Players can experience two new classes- Druids and Paladins in the upcoming beta tests.
- Multiplayer and cross-progression: The upcoming beta tests will also have the multiplayer option and cross-progression enabled. Up to 8 players will be allowed to play together and the number of items dropped will be increased as the number of players increases.
- Both Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Vizjerei will be fully playable with new, remastered cinematics.
Players who have pre-purchased Diablo 2: Resurrected or currently own Diablo 3 will get the Heritage of Arreat transmog set. Those who have pre-purchased the Diablo Prime Evil Collection will get the Mephisto pet and the menacing Hatred’s Grasp wing set in Diablo 3.

Diablo Immortal delayed
Meanwhile, Blizzard’s upcoming mobile game Diablo Immortal that was supposed to launch later this year, has been delayed to 2022. It will be available on iOS and Android devices.
