Dead Space on next-generation consoles
EA says they are building Dead Space from the ground up to offer a deeper, more immersive gameplay experience. The remake version will take full complete advantage of the next-generation console hardware and offer optimized graphics, faster load times, enhanced audio, and more.
Roman Campos-Oriola, Creative Director at Motive says “The super-fast SSDs on modern systems allow us to load and unload really fast. Our intention is to offer a fully unbroken experience, it will be an uninterrupted sequence shot, from the start screen to the end credit, without interruption.”
What’s new in the remake?
The remake version of the game is being developed on the Frostbite engine. The game is getting a facelift with higher resolution and immersive gameplay, but the story will be the same. Motive says the remake will feature new character models, new props, new environments, new assets, and more.
Dead Space remake release date
EA hasn’t announced a release date for the remake version yet.
