This patch has brought notable visual changes to the game. Wet surfaces will now look more detailed, meaning roads will look wetter after rain. Other visual changes include removal of hair and/or eyebrows where they were set to off in previous versions of the game, and shooting Tech weapons will no longer cause a blinding light.
Patch 1.31 has updated various quests in the game as well. In the “With a little help from my friends” mission, some players were unable to interact with the nomads to discuss the plan, and some players experienced lingering of “Wait for the nomads” objective on the screen. These issues have now been fixed.
Modders helping improve Cyberpunk 2077
Back in June, CDPR CEO Adam Kiciński commented that Cyberpunk 2077 was at a satisfactory level of stability and performance and that they have no plans of abandoning the game. The developer is still working on eliminating bugs and they recently hired community modders for the same and also improve Cyberpunk 2077.
The game is improving and is still liked by the community in spite of its rocky launch. Cyberpunk 2077 made its way back on the PlayStation Store in June and was also the best-selling PS4 game of that month.
