CS:GO pro Ricky ‘floppy’ Kemery transitions to new Cloud9 roster
CS:GO pro Ricky ‘floppy’ Kemery has left his previous South African-American Cloud9 lineup to join the new colossus roster. He was recruited by Henry ‘HenryG’ Greer who was appointed as the General Manager of Cloud9 after he retired from his broadcasting role. He had undertaken the task of building a new “Colossus” roster alongside Aleksandar ‘kassad’ Trifunović’ who was appointed as the coach.
HenryG revealed the details of floppy’s contract which includes his role in the team and his salary. floppy is the fourth member of the new unfinished Cloud9 roster which is led by Alex ‘Alex’ McMeekin.
floppy joins the ranks in Cloud9
The 20 year old talent has signed a $432,000 contract for 3 years with Cloud9 and will play as the anchor in the team. This move comes days after Cloud9 signed William ‘mezii’ Merriman and Özgür ‘woxic’ Eker to their roster.
floppy joined Cloud9 in January 2020. He was a part of the South African-American roster which consisted of Johnny “JT” Theodosiou, Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek, Josh “oSee” Ohm, Ian “motm” Hardy, and Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (coach).
He has averaged a 1.14 rating and helped his squad place in the top four at tournaments such as Flashpoint 1, ESL One: Road to Rio – North America, and DreamHack Masters Spring – North America. It is no surprise that he is considered one of North America’s biggest prospects and has made it to one of the region’s top teams.
With the skill he brings to the table, he is an exciting addition to the team. It’s only a matter of time before the fifth member is announced and the Colossus roster is finally ready.
