From all the new additions in Battlefield 2042, the Specialist System is perhaps the most intriguing. EA has introduced the Specialist System in Battlefield 2042 that allows players to choose their roles on the battlefield and form custom-made squads. Battlefield 2042 does not have a single-player mode so people can jump into 128 player action using these specialists.
The system is based on Battlefield’s four classes- Recon, Support, Assault, and Medic. Each specialist has one unique specialty and trait. The rest of their loadout is fully customizable. Players in a squad can choose the right specialists to gain an advantage on the battlefield.
Meet the Specialists
Battlefield 2042 will include 10 specialists. So far, EA has only revealed 4 of them and the remaining will be revealed in the coming months.

If fired at the enemy, the pistol will deal damage instead of healing. Her Combat Surgeon trait allows her to revive downed allies with full health.
Pyotr ‘Boris’ Guskovsky
This Russian-born engineer is an experienced weapons expert. His specialty SG-36 Sentry System automatically spots and engages enemy targets detected in a certain area. Sentry Operator spots the enemy target when the sentry gun locks on the enemy.
