The future has genuinely arrived in Warzone, Call of Duty players beware! Thanks to hackers, cars (and every other land vehicle) has been endowed with the ability of being able to fly. The PC game’s never-ending battle against cheaters and hackers has gotten a new chapter thanks to landlocked vehicles that may now fly. When Activision advertised dogfights for Warzone Pacific, this is probably not what they had in mind.
Hackers now have the ability to fly their vehicles in Warzone
Professional Warzone player Intechs and the squad he was playing with were the unlucky victims of an event that resembled a cross between The Jetsons and a Michael Bay film, when they were attacked from above. Warzone involves assault helicopters and World War II fighter jets, so this isn’t exactly new. However, Intechs quickly realised the gravity of the situation when the killcam showed his attacker aimbotting while standing on a flying car.

Activision’s Ricochet Anti-Cheat technology, which went live in December, has been hit or miss. Many would-be cheaters have run into roadblocks in the shape of hardware bans or non-damaging firearms, but others have slipped through the cracks. And this latest hacking feature is amusing to see but at the same time terrifying to experience.

There seem to be a lot of problems with Call of Duty Warzone these days. Because a substantial portion of Raven Software’s QA team has been on strike since early December, the game has of late been riddled with bugs and other flaws, forcing Activision to push the release of Season 2 back to February 14th.
Fans of Call of Duty should keep an eye on the skies the next time they visit Caldera. You could be hit by a flying jeep or a large rig truck. If you do, make sure to click the “report” button.
