CD Projekt Red pushes back the release date for Cyberpunk 2077, Night city wire to give insights
Over the past few years, one game that has been hyped and highly awaited is Cyberpunk 2077, from CD Projekt Red. The game was first teased more than 7 years back and everytime we seem close to getting it in our hands, the released date of the game is pushed further.
This time, the release date has been delayed again. Now, the game will launch on November 19, rather than the initial September release date.
Multiple delays of the game
Last year, when we got a look at the deep dive video into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, we were given an April release date. However, the developers quickly changed that to September as a result of ongoing things in the world.
At this point, the developers have stated that each aspect of the game is complete, but they are taking their time to iron things out. It seems that the push back is a way to get rid of bugs from the game.
CD Projekt Red are known for their highly polished and well finished games. In the past, their Witcher series have been nothing short of phenomenol and we can hope to expect the same from Cyberpunk 2077
Night City wire is incoming
If you’re sad that the game was delayed, don’t fret. On 25th June, CD Projekt Red is hosting their ‘Night City Wire’ event, where you can expect to learn more about the game, see new footage and more.
In fact, during this time, the game will also be sent to media personnel across the globe, meaning that there will be a handful of people who will already have played the game well before launch.
So, at least you still have something Cyberpunk related to look forward to for this week. The developers have also added that Night City wire will be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what the game is capable of.
