Sledgehammer Games has released the story trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard, their upcoming shooter game and the latest addition to the Call of Duty series.

The trailer gives glimpses of the action that awaits players. It starts off with scenes from a naval battle showcasing massive warships and aircraft and then moves on to combat scenes on a moving train.
A look at the Vanguard
We also get a closer look at the main characters of the game who form the Vanguard. Sergeant Arthur Kingsley leads the team of demolitionist Lucas Riggs, pilot Wade Jackson, sniper Polina Petrova, and Richard Webb who is Kingsley’s trusted right-hand man. The trailer also shows us the antagonist, Heinrich Freisinger.
Vanguard drops next month
The game is up for pre-order and is scheduled to release on November 5, 2021, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via battle.net). At launch, Vanguard’s multiplayer will include 20 maps and a Zombies mode developed by Treyarch.
Call of Duty 2022 is a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare
Meanwhile, next year’s Call of Duty game is a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019) and it’s titled Modern Warfare II. The game is being developed by Infinity Ward and they are bringing another action-packed campaign showcasing clashes between US Special Forces and Colombian drug cartels.
