It’s been confirmed by Activision that Call of Duty Mobile players shall finally get a new Battle Royale map- the first since the game’s release back in 2019. Along with the release of a remastered multiplayer map- Crash and a ton of other content that shall be dropping in the new season of the 2nd anniversary update, players of the battle royale game are in for exciting times lined up for them.
The new season for Call of Duty Mobile is just around the corner, with only three days remaining for the previous season’s Battle Pass to end. But what’s different & exciting this season is that this upcoming month is the 2nd Anniversary Month for Call of Duty Mobile. As promised by Activision, this season’s anniversary shall be more exciting than last season’s update. With teasers releasing for the previous few weeks on different social media platforms, we have been made aware of some of the new content that is dropping in the game with the release of the new season.
New content dropping in-game for 2nd Anniversary update of Call of Duty Mobile
All throughout the duration of Season 8, players shall celebrate the 2nd birthday of Call of Duty: Mobile with three exclusive new events organised for the anniversary – an Anniversary Cake event, an Anniversary Puzzle event, and a themed event called Counterattack. It will be exciting to see what the developers of Activision have planned for each of the events and the rewards that players will earn.
Some of the key highlights for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8: 2nd Anniversary coming to Android and iOS:
- New health and armour system from Call of Duty : Warzone
- New weapon looting system
- New and improved visuals
- Improved vehicle user interface elements
Crash, originally launched with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, is one of the most played map in Call of Duty: Mobile. Players will be treated to a improved & remastered version of the map with updated graphics.
New Mode/ Limited Time Event – Counterattack
This new mode will bring NPCs and PvE gameplay to Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale for the first time. Players complete missions given to them by NPCs and can even recruit NPCs and Mercenaries to help bring back event points in order to progress through the event and earn rewards.
