Krafton has commenced the registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge (BMOC) 2022. This open-for-all tournament is scheduled to run from April 4-May 15 and gives the best performing teams a chance to qualify for Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) Season 1 where they can win the biggest share from the Rs. 2 cr. prize pool.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge 2022 format
The tournament begins with in-game qualifiers scheduled from April 4-April 10. Each registered team will have to play 15 matches from which the top 10 will be evaluated and scored. The top 512 teams will then move forward to the online qualifier stage. Krafton states that “In case of a tie, certain parameters such as finishes, survival time, accuracy, etc will be considered.”
Online qualifiers will be played from April 21-May 15 in four rounds.
Round 1
The first round will consist of the 512 teams that will be divided into 32 groups and each team will play 5 matches. The top 8 teams from each group, meaning a total of 256 teams, will qualify for the next round.
Round 2
Teams will be divided into 16 groups where each group will play 5 matches. The top 4 teams from each group will advance to round three.
Round 3
The 64 teams in this round will be divided into 4 groups and each one will play 6 matches. The top 8 teams from each group will advance to the next round.
Round 4
Round 4 will again feature 64 teams, 32 from Round 3 + 32 Invited teams. They’ll be divided into 4 groups and each group will play a total of 6 matches. The top 6 teams from each group, meaning a total of 24 teams will qualify for BMPS S1.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) Season 1 is scheduled to be played from May 19-June 12.
