Battlegrounds Mobile India gets a tremendous response
Battlegrounds Mobile India’s launch was so massive that Krafton recorded 34 million players within one week. Krafton’s latest free-to-play battle royale launched on July 2 for Android users in the country. The game was already highly anticipated and that resulted in such a high number of registered players.
Active users and peak player count
Krafton also recorded 16 million daily active users and a peak player count of 2.4 million. This just shows how eager players were to jump into BGMI and once again, divulge battle royale action.

We are committed to bringing new and more entertaining content to BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA to bring greater joy to our fans and players.” and added, “With BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA as a start, KRAFTON hopes to grow and further develop together with India’s video gaming and esports industry”
Krafton had previously stated that Battlegrounds Mobile India will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. The Launch Party was organized last week and earlier today, Krafton revealed the official logo for the Battlegrounds Mobile Indis Series 2021.
Krafton has planned to organized more BGMI esports tournaments to further expand the Battlegrounds IP in the country.
Krafton also announced BGMI’s partnership with Tesla through which they introduced a new weapon, tons of new features, and allowed players to drive the Tesla Model Y in the game. Fans can expect several updates in the future that will bring more content into the game.
