The all new AMD Radeon RX 6000 refresh is close to its release and obviously, we have some juicy 3D Mark leaks regarding its performance. Keeping in mind that 3D Mark scores are not something that decide the match up; AMD is for sure bathing in glory.
The Results were posted at WCCFTech. The site later went on and published a range of 3D Mark results that covered the three refreshed cards:
- 6950 XT
- 6750 XT
- 6650 XT
AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT vs Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti: The Verdict
6950 XT has notably stood out the most. It has a Time Spy graphics score of 22209 beating RTX 3090 Ti at 20855 and 6900 XT at 18463. Which means that 6950 XT has almost 20% improvement over the 6900 XT. That is far beyond expectations!
The same goes for 6750 XT and 6650 XT which have impressive, 16% and 11% gains in Time Spy respectively. Though, we will have to wait and see if these gains will transfer over in actual gameplay.
The three cards in the 6000 series refresh use three different GPUs, Navi 21, Navi 22 and Navi 23. These cards are also expected to receive faster GDDR 6 memory and slightly higher TDPs
The pricing will also be key but we have no news on that front. With the apparent end of the GPU crunch, the cards are now nearing their RRP ranges.
But the glory of this win might not last long as we are just a few months away from the next gen RDNA 3 and Ada Lovelace cards. A lot of enthusiasts also have their eye on Intel’s Arc series as well.
