The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 was streamed yesterday and the company made a bunch of announcements. Fans were treated to news about Forza Horizon 5, Starfield, new Game Pass content, and more. Here’s a rundown of everything that was revealed–
Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 announcements
Forza Horizon 5 PC specs revealed
Playground Games revealed the PC system requirements for their upcoming racing game Forza Horizon 5. The minimum and recommended specs don’t look too harsh but if you choose the ideal specs, you will need some high-end hardware.
Forza Horizon 5 is scheduled to release on November 9, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows (Steam). It’ll feature higher frame rates, improved audio, and more. Last month, the developers revealed the gameplay and cover cars, and in July we got a look at the Biomes of Forza Horizon 5.
New Game Pass titles
Scarlet Nexus, Back 4 Blood, AI: Somnium Files, and Mighty Goose to the Game Pass. Scarlet Nexus is available today for Game Pass subscribers on console, PC, tablet, and Cloud. Other games will be added in the future.
Starfield will be localized in Japanese
At the Bethesda and Xbox announced that Starfield will be localized into Japanese “incorporating over 300 actors and over 150,000 lines of dialogue.” Starfield is scheduled to release on November 11, 2022, exclusively for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Updates on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
A new Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy trailer was also showcased at the show. Fans got a glimpse of the game’s universe, characters, colorful backdrops, and more. The game is scheduled to release in October 2021.
Additionally, the company says fans can expect more titles from developers in Asia that will arrive on Xbox consoles.
