So far in 2022, we’ve seen the launch of new video games like Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, MotoGP 2022, and Sniper Elite 5 take the gaming world by storm, and now, as we head into the second half of this year, we await the launch of Modern Warfare 2, Gotham Knights, the next-gen version of Witcher 3, and God of War Ragnarok. While these are still a couple of months away, there are some exciting titles lined up for June 2022, let’s take a look:
New video games coming in June 2022
Silt (PC and consoles)- June 1
Spiral Circus Games’ new adventure title Silt is releasing on June 1 for PC (Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It takes you on an underwater adventure where you’ll visit ancient ruins, encounter strange monsters, and solve puzzles to uncover mysteries.
Diablo Immortal (Mobile and PC)- June 2
Blizzard’s free-to-play action RPG Diablo Immortal arrives on Android, iOS, and Windows on June 2. It was supposed to release last year but was delayed as the developers wanted to make improvements to the gameplay. Players can choose from 6 different classes: Barbarian, Wizard, Monk, Necromancer, Demon Hunter, and Crusade, each with a unique skill set, and embark on an adventure to fight the undead and demon bosses.
The Quarry (PC and consoles)- June 10
Supermassive Games is bringing their new video game The Quarry on June 10 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The narrative revolves around a group of teenagers who find themselves in a bit of a tangle during the last night of their summer camp. Players will face some tough choices throughout the game as they fight blood-thirsty locals and terrifying monsters.
Mario Strikers: Battle League (Nintendo Switch)- June 10
Mario Strikers: Battle League, the third game in the Mario Strikers series, is scheduled to release on June 10 for Nintendo Switch. It’s an action-packed football game where you have to score maximum points to win the match. Scoring can be made easier by temporarily knocking out opponents using different items (just like in Mario Kart) or by throwing them in the electric fence that surrounds the field.
The game allows local multiplayer for up to 8 players, online multiplayer is also available, and there’s also a “Club Mode” up to 20 players can create their own game season.
Capcom Fighting Collection (PC and consoles)- June 24
Back in February Capcom announced their Fighting Collection, a compilation of 10 fighting games that will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 24, 2022.
